Theology Book Group
The Theology Book Group will meet from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the church library on the third Sunday of the month. In May the meeting will be held on May 12 so as not to conflict with a day honoring Fran Avera. The people who come to the group are from a variety of religious backgrounds, and share a cornucopia of perspectives. To date, the Group has read and discussed works by historians, writers on mysticism, feminist theologians, and those working at the intersection of religion and science – and more!
This book group is currently reading The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion. You need not make any prior arrangements to join in, just read that portion of the book and come. Knock loud on the Narthex door so we will hear you and know you have arrived if we are in the Library.
If you would like to learn more about the Theology Book Group, you can email the coordinator of the Group.
