Theology Book Group
The Theology Book Group will meet from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the church library usually on the third Sunday of the month. See the newsletter for changes to that schedule. The people who come to the group are from a variety of religious backgrounds, and share a cornucopia of perspectives. To date, the Group has read and discussed works by historians, writers on mysticism, feminist theologians, and those working at the intersection of religion and science – and more!
This book group is currently reading Suicide of the West: How the Rebirth of Tribalism, Populism, Nationalism, and Identity Politics is Destroying American Democracy by Jonah Goldberg. You need not make any prior arrangements to join in; just read the designated portion of the book and come. (Knock loud on the Narthex door so we will hear you and know you have arrived if we are in the Library.) If you would like to learn more about the Theology Book Group, you can email the coordinator of the Group. |
