Missions
Covenant regularly serves at Montrose Grace Place, Hospitality Apartments, and the Christian Community Service Center (CCSC). Contact us for upcoming volunteer opportunities!
We also collect food for the Wesley Community Center and donate all cash offerings to one of our Missions partners on the first Sunday of each month.
Community Programs
Covenant’s Young Adult Group meets monthly for intentional discussions on theology and spirituality. Young adults also regularly participate in off-site volunteer opportunities.
Lunchtime Lectionary Lab, our Adult Bible Study meets by Zoom on Thursdays at 1:15pm. This group takes a deep look at the lectionary passage for that coming Sunday.
Children’s Programs - Covenant hosts two major annual events for children and families in our neighborhood: an Egg Hunt on the Saturday before Easter and a Trunk-or-Treat in late October.
Pride Parade
Covenant has marched in the Houston Pride Parade annually since 1986. As a congregation, we put our affirmation of LGBT people into writing in 1992. Volunteers help build our Pride float and march with us in the parade. We celebrate Pride Sunday the day after the parade.
