Covenant's Community Garden

​The Covenant Community Garden is one year old!  It is amazing how much food has been produced each season in the past year!  This time of year we’re growing tomatoes, bell peppers, and a mystery vining plant that we think is some kind of squash.  In the coming weeks, as tomato plants finish producing, we’ll be putting in sweet potatoes to join the squash. 
 
The Houston Area Women’s Center kitchen has been the recipient of our produce.  It’s truly fun to harvest produce and take it in to Brittany, the Center’s chef.  She’s always excited to see the wonderful, healthy food we’ve brought in.
