Youth of Covenant Church
Mentorship Program
The Covenant mentoring program is an opportunity for youth and adults in the congregation to develop meaningful relationships beyond their family circles. Since a youth may enter the program in the sixth grade and continue each year until graduation from high school, the mentoring experience is, potentially, a seven-year journey—an opportunity to know at least seven adults in the congregation as trusted friends. It is also an opportunity for the youth, as they journey toward maturity, to become more and more familiar with Covenant.
The program will now involve Mentor/Youth pods. Each pod will have 4 youth and 2 adults. This change will enable us to maintain our child-safe policies and will help to foster connection and community among the mentors and youth of our church.
